The Retreat

We regenerate body and mind, embraced by nature’s ancient wisdom.

THE ROOMS

The retreat is spread over two floors and offers six rooms:

  • 1 triple room (one double bed plus a single bed, or three separate beds) — accessible and barrier-free
  • 4 double rooms (one double bed or two separate single beds)
  • 1 double or single room (French bed, not divisible)
All rooms have private bathrooms, with windows, balconies, or large glass doors overlooking the surrounding nature.

THE KITCHEN

This is where we prepare and serve meals—vegetarian and vegan dishes inspired by the culinary traditions of Basilicata, made whenever possible with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

LOUNGE AND LIBRARY

A quiet space to relax and browse through our collection of books on the wisdom of trees and nature. It’s also a cozy spot for writing or enjoying a warm drink at the large wooden shelf under the window, with a view of the forest.

THE LAND

Alberi Maestri Eco Retreat is located within the Bosco Ralle Forest in Satriano di Lucania, inside the Appennino Lucano National Park. We have over 3 hectares of land available for our activities, including clearings, fruit trees, and majestic centuries-old oaks.

WORKSHOP SPACE

We have a 40-square-meter indoor space that can be used for yoga sessions, breathwork, workshops, ecstatic dance, meditation, and all retreat activities that can’t be held outdoors. The room overlooks the forest.

ENERGY SELF-SUFFICIENCY

The renovation of the property, begun in 2023, was guided by our commitment to reducing our ecological footprint. Alberi Maestri Eco Retreat is fully energy self-sufficient, thanks to photovoltaic panels and solar thermal systems. We also improved energy efficiency—insulating the roof, doors, windows, and walls—reducing energy needs for heating air and water by 70%.

The facility is also equipped for methane gas use, but it will only be activated in emergencies to ensure continuity of essential services.

RENT THE ENTIRE VENUE

Alberi Maestri Eco Retreat can be rented in its entirety for courses, retreats, trainings, and conferences.

We take care of all the details to support your group and create a welcoming space where your participants can enjoy a meaningful and transformative stay.

We always provide your group with:

  • Yoga & Workshop Room
  • Vegetarian and vegan kitchen
  • Lounge, library, and all shared spaces
  • Three hectares of land with clearings, forest, and ancient oak trees
  • Single or double rooms with separate beds and private bathrooms (including linens, towels, and heating)

We can also offer your group a selection of activities to include in your retreat program:

  • Forest bathing with a certified Forest Therapy Hub guide
  • Forest therapy with a certified Forest Therapy Hub guide
  • Ecstatic dance with a trained DJ (Dance the Medicine)
  • Full Wim Hof Method workshop with certified instructor (ice bath and breathing techniques)
  • Wild Blue: water-based nature reconnection guided by a certified Forest Therapy Hub practitioner
  • Guided hikes in the Appennino Lucano National Park with an official hiking guide
  • Rental of 40 silent party headphones

MINIMUM STAY FOR RETREATS

A minimum stay of 2 nights is required to book Alberi Maestri Eco Retreat.
